"Churaumi" means "beautiful ocean" in Okinawan dialect. Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium presents the beautiful ocean and underwater lives of Okinawa. Your journey to the "Churaumi" starts here.

Coral Sea (top) Observe corals from top of the Coral Sea tank. Natural light and Ocean water are used to raise corals.	Water Observation Tour Watch gigantic whale sharks and manta rays from the top of "Kuroshio Sea" tank. To sign-up, go to reception desk located at whale shark & manta ray section on 1F.	Statue of Whale Shark Uminchu Gate	Restaurant "Inoo" Where you can enjoy the wonderful view of the East China Sea and Iejima island.

An Exhibit of Live Coral.
You can observe a remarkable coral ecosystem unlike any other in the world and unprecedented in scale.

Coral Lobby This is admission area where you can get general info and daily event schedules. Reception desk for annual admission pass is located here.	Life in "Inoo" "Inoo" is Okinawan word for tide pool of coral reef area. Inoo is reproduced here, and you can get familiar with creatures live in Inoo. Touch and observe!	Coral Sea Living coral is raised in a large scale seen nowhere else in the world. Aquarium is planning to release corals raised here to the ocean in the future.	Sea of Tropical Fish Observe thousands of colorful fish and creatures of the tropical sea. Here you find large variety of fishes from angelfish to giant grouper.

Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium's main attraction, "Kuroshio Sea" is located here. In this Kuroshio Sea tank, one of the world's largest, gigantic whale sharks, manta rays, and schools of large fish are swimming calmly. It is amazingly dynamic.

Churaumi Theater Watch documentary about Ocean life in Okinawa marine life with Hi-Vision system. A suprise is waiting for you at the end of the show...	Kuroshio Sea Watch whale sharks, manta rays and schooling fish like tuna and bonita swimming around in this 7,500 ton gigantic tank.	Shark Research Lab Exhibit space of sharks. You can observe various teeth, skin samples, and watch number of sharks known as "dangerous sharks".	Coral Reef Room Journey to the Coral Reef

The deep sea conceals as many misteries as outer space. This floor offers a journey to a mysterious world. Okinawa Deep Sea is reproduced here.

Aqua Room Watch whale sharks, manta rays and schools of fish swimming over your head. Natural sun light creates the illumination that makes you feel like you are in the ocean.	Deep Sea Discover the lives of deep sea at here. Exhibit includes creature of deep sea such as moray eels, 2-meter-long spider crabs, and snake mackerel.	Deep Sea World Exhibited space of deep sea world. Learn and discover about environment and lives of deep sea by watching videos and display panels. Touch and feel the water temperature of 600m below.	Cafe "Ocean Blue" Get relax at here and watch large manta rays swim by.
Ocean Planetarium Deep sea lives such light-emitting fish, coral and other interesting organisms are exhibited at here. Mysterious and interesting space.	Whale Shark & Manta Ray Section You can ask questions about whale sharks and manta rays. Reception desk for "Water Observation Tour" is located.	Wakuwaku Aqua Lab Learn about ocean creature by attending this experiment session presented by aquarium staffs. Ask anything about ocean lives!	Shop Blue Manta Aquarium's original gift goods are available as well as Okinawa ocean related books.

By Bus:
Take the No. 20 Nago-Nishi line bus on platform No.7 at the Naha Terminal, or the No.120 Airport Resort West line at the Asahibashi bus stop at the Naha Bus Terminal. Change to the Motobu Hanto line or Bise line at the Nago Bus Terminal. Get off the bus at the South Gate or Central Gate of the Ocean EXPO park.

By Car:
From Naha Intl. Airport take the Route 329 to Naha I.C of Okinawa Expressway. Change to the Route 58 at Kyoda I.C, take the Route 449 and then take the Route 114 to the Ocean EXPO Park.
